Conditions of a bill
- According to bill’s conditions, packed goods manufacturers and importers as
well as some shops, shopping centers, businessmen engaged in packaging
waste recycling and exporters of packaging waste will have to sign the
special register conducted by the major environmental inspector.
- A businessman will have to pay for lodging at the registry. In the first year of appearing in the register the charges will be made only when registering. In the next years businessmen will have to pay charges annually. The charges depends on the company’ business activity
- According to the bill every non-biodegradable bag which is used not to pack goods but to carry products will be paid. Its cost will be 20 grosz and it will be taken as ecological tax.
- Changes in calculating charges for so called ‘total recycling’ are going to be introduced.
- Businessmen recycling not only their waste do not have to make 100% of recycling. Only the certain level of recycling stated in a bill shall be reached.
After the being accepted the most important regulations come into force at the begining of the year 2010.
