History of the MCDO KRAKUS company’s activity
The M.C.D.O. ‘Krakus’, ‘KRAKUS’ was founded on the 2nd January 1991. It is the authorized distributor of many famous national and foreign producers. During the long -term business activity, the company gained broad knowledge about packing different kinds of products. Thanks to this knowledge based on long-term experience the company is a leader and a reliable partner on the market. It is domiciled in Cracow. We have also branches in southeast Poland (Nowy Sącz, Tarnów, Zakopane).
In June 2003 Małopolskie Centrum Dystrybucji Opakowań "Krakus" established Quality Management System in order to improve packaging distribution services. Thanks to innovative solutions and staff’s commitment we improve service and try to do our best to satisfy customers. High quality of service of the company is proved by European Certificate EN ISO 9001:2000 granted by TUV CERT Rheinland InterCert.
At the present time we are introducing Integrated Quality Management System EN ISO 9001:2000 i HACCP which was certificated by international Certifying Body DEKRA-INTERTEK CERTIFICATION.
At the same time the quality of our services was appreciated by EUROPEAN QUALITY INSTITUTE which in 2005 awarded our company Top Quality Certificate.
In February 2006 in the Wawel Royal Castle, Cracow we received The Reliable Company Certificate. What is more, we made PZH Certificates accessible to our customers. At the same time the company tries to apply rules according to Total Quality Management which results in cooperation with science centers, participation in conferences and science seminaries.
We offer a wide range of packaging consulting services e.g. regular packaging, novelties, individuals designs, professional designs, packaging systems, equipments, accessories, magazine outsourcing, logistics outsourcing and marketing outsourcing.
During the last few years on the market the company “KRAKUS” gained knowledge about packaging. We owed success to our employees who participate in professional trainings and courses. We are open to new ideas and innovations of creative people.
In 2007 and 2008 the company Krakus received the title of Gazelle of Business and Transparent Company
